Come along to a spectacular night of alternative cinema!

Healthy Communities proudly presents this year’s Tropical Alternatives Film Festival (TAFF) 2012. TAFF is the only regional queer film festival in Queensland which explores and celebrates the queer community through film.

This year, as well as feature films and international films, we are excited to present a selection of five locally made short films, produced by such breathtaking local talent as Leah Pellinkh from Queersland with film called Chook and Maureen and our very own Evie Ryder with her film called Girl Brain Boy Brain. Audiences vote for the best short of 2012 so we need your fabulous eye for film. Tickets are selling fast, so head to
  to get in quick!
